International Programs Group (IPG) is an independent third-party claims administrator which provides claims services for Lloyd’s of London syndicates, domestic insurers, self-insured entities, or organizations with high deductibles or self-insured retention.
Reporting directly to the Data and Analytics Manager, the Data Management Analyst will be responsible for advancing data governance practices and principles within IPG. Building and delivering documentation, managing master data sets, working within existing systems and identifying opportunities to improve data quality will be primary responsibilities. Additional duties in business communications, and quality reporting as required.
Organizational Alignment:
- Operational effectiveness and efficiency: work closely with Managers, peers, business users and IT
- Customer Service: deliver prompt and professional responses to business requests, communicate effectively with business stakeholders and external clients
- Quality: continuously seek opportunities to increase the performance, reliability, security, and functionality of business and reporting processes
- Relationships: build strong relationships with internal teams as well as internal business users and external clients
Key Performance Factors:
- Gathers requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers
- Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
- Support highly complex business processes with accurate and timely reporting of information
- Execute assigned tasks/projects effectively and in a timely manner
- Communicate status of tasks and projects to management and stakeholders in a timely manner
- Create, implement, and maintain reasonable documentation of all work
Job Responsibilities:
Data Governance - 80%
- Assist in developing data governance implementation plans.
- Gather and document business processes into centralized business glossary and maintain that document.
- Review and recommend changes to further the data governance program and initiatives.
- Identify and action opportunities to closer align business and technical systems process
- Communicate and assist in development of governance process improvements.
- Manage and own reference and master data sets
Reporting Development – 20%
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather and document requirements for reporting.
- Monitor and communicate on performance of existing and developed reporting structures.
- Develop reporting solutions in EXCEL and Power BI to meet requirements.
- Support business processes as required to ensure efficient operations.
- Bring an entrepreneurial spirit to drive the role forward within the business and the industry.
Experience:
- Diploma in Business Administration or Equivalent Experience
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- 2+ years of experience with Excel, ability to work with connected data sources.
- Familiar with business process mapping
- Experience in Finance or Insurance Industry considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Power Pivot, Power BI or TSQL and/or DAX will be considered an asset

Role Summary
Provide immediate and customer-focused assistance to policyholders who are calling to report insurance claims. Document initial loss details and activities to ensure that callers experience timely and service oriented disposition of calls. Make determination based on protocol if immediate adjuster attention is required and coordinate with vendors as required.
* Please note that this position requires shift work on a seven (7) day rotating basis between the hours of 12AM to 8AM * Training will take place between 4pm to 12am. *Only candidates fully bilingual in French and English will be considered *This is a full-time opportunity, and will require 37.5 hours of work per week. * In order to work remotely, you will require High Speed Internet. (Download and Upload speed must both be at a minimum of 50 mbps)
** Preference will be given to candidates who have successfully completed the following Insurance Institute courses - Essentials of Loss Adjusting (C110), Automobile (C14), Property (C12) and Principles and Practices (C11) **

Responsibilities • Review ECS call report and ensure call has terminated properly and forward accurate and complete call reports as required. • Provide personalized customer service of the highest level • Arrange for the dispatch of adjusters or vendor partners when required • Field and answer branch inquiries and administer to ECS menu • Maintain data base of service lapses reference for root cause, report trends and make recommendations to management • Review claim information to determine proper next steps for processing against client guidelines/ service agreements
Education, knowledge and experience required • Post secondary education • Minimum 1 year administrative experience • Knowledge of insurance/service industry or related experience preferred • Strong computer and telephone skills with an aptitude/ability to learn • Effective communication skills both written and verbal in English and French • Attention to detail

Overview
Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will play a key role in achieving the goals of the department while fostering an environment of high performance. - Recording and posting of payments using Great Plains and SCM’s payment application program in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Regular bank deposits using Remote Cheque Scanner and occasionally at the bank
- Ensuring Accounts Receivable Legers are balanced weekly and before month end
- Processing of monthly adjustments as assigned
- Occasional involvement in opening of mail and listing in Deposit Summary
- Resolving payment issues and client inquiries in a timely manner and entering notes in the system for record keeping
- Electronic filing and maintenance
- Respond to audit inquiries in a timely manner.

Qualifications & Experience
- Grade twelve diploma
- Preference will be given to candidates with or working towards accounting certificate or diploma
- Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles

- Advanced Excel skills
- Previous business to business insurance experience is an asset but not required

You have a strong understanding of the restoration process and are proficient in the use of Xactimate. You are experienced with building codes and basic electrical and plumbing techniques. Using your field expertise you will perform site inspections, quality surveying, measuring and specifications to provide pricing of various structures. Utilizing time management skills and your marketing/sales knowledge will assist you in meeting daily, weekly, and monthly productivity requirements.
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform the necessary work to provide replacement costs and actual cash value valuations on various residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
- Produce specification bid documents including general conditions, specifications, scope of work, bid sheets for building damage repair.
- Provide recommendations on protection from further damage as well as recommendations to repair or replace building.
- Provide verification of type and cause of damage – hail, water, etc.
- Complete audit and file reviews on completed jobs
- Provide appraisals on residential and commercial buildings.

- Provide recommendations on costing, length of time to repair or to replace dwelling.

- You will also promote all rmsQuantify™ services to ClaimsPro adjusters to help RMS to achieve its budgeted annual post loss appraisal revenue.
Education, Knowledge and Experience Required:
- Diploma in Construction/Building Science, Construction Management, Architectural or Civil Engineering Technology
- Minimum 3-5 years estimating and project management experience in construction, restoration or insurance industry required
- Working Knowledge of Xactimate Claims Software is required
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, good computer skills and ability type a minimum of 35 wpm.
- Capacity to learn various electronic and manual estimating systems.

Responsibilities:
- Receive, review and accurately open new client claims in the system ensuring policy declaration pages reconcile with data once verified claim was intended for IPG handling
- Accurately enter claims and financial data in various client databases and reconcile with our internal claims system
- Prepare financial and data reports as required
- Create client loss runs and liaise with clients to clarify and confirm needs
- Ensure policy declarations are accurate and interact with clients as required to obtain appropriate set up documents
- Troubleshoot data conflicts directly with clients and examiners
- Ensure claims are opened in a timely manner and in conformity with client data standards by researching and understanding the nuances of loss report details

Qualifications & Experience
- Grade twelve diploma; however a post-secondary diploma in Office Administration will be given preference

Responsibilities:
- Act as an examiner for various Lloyds accounts which involves providing prompt, fair, quality claims service to clients.
- Examine liability claims.
- Direct Field Adjusters on assignment investigations
- Settle claims directly with claimants or their representatives
- Administer claims payments/settlements through trust accounts
- Liaise with all stakeholders to insure client's needs are met
Education, Knowledge and Experience Required:
- College diploma or combination of education and equivalent business
- CIP designation an asset
- Minimum of 5 years of casualty claims experience including professional lines.
- Professional liability experience, including complex coverage analysis
- Experience dealing with Lloyds a clear advantage.
Competencies Required To Succeed:
- Individual must demonstrate the ability to direct adjusters of all levels and work effectively in a team environment
- Previously demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external associates, written and oral techniques
- A positive, “can do” attitude and customer service approach ensuring all inquiries are effectively dealt with in a timely manner
- Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive in identifying and implementing solutions
- Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced and demanding environment
- Exceptional computer skills. Ability to navigate various systems, proficient in MS Office and work in a paperless environment.

The Independent Adjuster actively adjusts claims while ensuring that business development opportunities are maximized. This involves marketing and follow-up of opportunities in a timely manner. The profile duties create a dynamic portfolio requiring extremely well-honed organizational skills that enable day to day activities to be completed while allowing efficient and effective progress of file management activities.
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate must have experience in Personal and/or Commercial lines Auto Property Damage (PD). Some personal Property Claims experience will be considered an asset, as well as the following competencies:

Qualifications & Experience

Adjuster’s license, or currently pursuing or have completed the CIP designation.
